I hate it when people say they aren’t “ready for a relationship”. Someone said that to a friend of mine and now I find out she’s dating another friend of mine (and I don’t know how to tell him, sigh). It was just an excuse. How hard is it to be honest and say you just don’t want a relationship with that person? Thing is we say all these things but once you meet the right person you break every rule you’ve made for them. When it’s the right person even if you think you’re not ready you’ll make it work because they’re worth it. So don’t lie to the poor person just be honest. It would be so nice if everyone in the world would just be honest with one another.
